I’m with Sen. Carl Levin

What could possibly be worse if the Republicans are angry about filibuster reform?

Who would have thought that a responsible political party would use Senate rules that were invoked only a few times in the 20th Century to block routine nominations and legislation?

In theory I support reforming the filibuster BUT there are very few responsible Republicans remaining in Congress.

The current Republican members of both houses of Congress and in many state legislatures are really employees of the Koch brothers, Jeff Immelt, the late Bob Perry, Sheldon Adelson, Steve Feinberg (made the rifles used in Newtown, CT and at other mass murder sites), Harold Simmons, Jamie Dimon, Goldman Sachs, Bain Capital Management, John Templeton, Bank of America, etc.  Their economists and MBAs have made the case that investing in the United States with its aging population in not a good investment.

Why else do hedge full managers close profitable plants in the United States and ship the plant to a low wage country? Yes, low wages but the plants are located nearer much faster growing market.

I do not believe that any of the individuals or companies named above care about the political, economic, social or emotional health the country of their birth. Moreover, they want more sick Americans to increase corporate profits.  The products sold to the ill usually have higher profit margins.

What will such &%$#@*&% animals discover in our Constitution and laws to obstruct after filibuster reform? I do not know BUT when you are dealing the AMORAL MONSTERS who pull the strings of McConnell, Boehner, Cantor, Cornyn and Inhofe I’m not sure I want to embark upon that voyage of discovery.

I’m with Carl Levin.
