Coming from MI one politician I greatly admired was our US Senator, Carl Levin.

I just read he passed. I do not have time to list all of his accomplishments, but I thought that he most defiantly needs to be reported and respected

For many years I was lucky enough to have his brother, Sander, be my US Rep.

He grew up in a conservative Jewish home, and his faith never left him. He had lived with lung cancer the last 4 or 5 years.

He started off on the Armed Forces committee, and by the time he retired he ran the committee. He retired from the Senate, had a warship named after him, and went back to being an attorney while he lived in retirement as first and foremost a “Michigan Man”
