Peters' GOP opponent, Former Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land, finally filed her paperwork for her Senate campaign and will need to catch up to Peters fast in fundraising if she wants to make this campaign competitive:Peters, the likely Democratic nominee to replace retiring Sen. One of the major benefits of having Peters in the Senate is that he will be fighting hard for a pro-environmental agenda as a U.S. Senator.
